Richfield Sulphur Solutions, LLC was formed in 2015 and construction of our 60,000 ton/year plant was completed in 2016.  Sulphur is a critical crop nutrient for farmers in both North and South America and a need was identified to have a plant that could take the sulphur from local refineries, put it with locally sourced bentonite, and use the port facilities, located only minutes from our production facility, to send product to South America.  We currently are the low cost producer for sulphur bentonite into Brazil and most of South America.  The plant was the brainchild of the Kirk family, but other shareholders were brought on board, including a private equity fund out of Dallas (NGP Partners, now Tillridge) to properly fund the plant.  The plant has been running since 2017 and has reached full production through 2018 and 2019.  We market product through a local stakeholder, JM Fertilizer, in the USA, and through Campo Rico Fertilizantes, SA in Brazil and the rest of South America.  If you have need of sulphur for your farm, we can help!
